When supermodel Kendall Jenner announced her venture into tequila, launching 818 back in 2021, our first question was—when and where can we get our hands on it?
While the brand, aptly named after Jenner's hometown of Calabasas, has been making waves internationally, here in Australia we've still been waiting (patiently) to try it for ourselves.
Well, until now.
We've got good news for those who have wanted to put 818 Tequila to the test. Hairydog has restocked the brand's Añejo, which according to the site, has been aged for over a year in oak barrels to create notes of 'caramel, toasted nuts, orange peel, chocolate, and toffee'.
While for now only the 818 Añejo is available at Hairydog, keep your eyes peeled for the other varietals to come back soon.
The others include a Blanco, which offers up notes of vanilla, with undertones of tropical and citrus fruit, and a Reposado, described as a smooth caramel finish with notes of sweet cooked agave and pecan pie.
