The festive season always brings with it a sense of magic, and this year’s Gucci Gift campaign is taking us on an enchanted journey fit for the occasion — destination unknown.
Shot by Jordan Hemingway, the Fashion House’s dazzling cast of characters serendipitously meet on a luxury train, with a focus on the journey and “wonders that can be found in moments of togetherness during one’s travels.”
A shimmering and joyful spirit takes centre stage, with rich velvets, sequins and the legendary House motif dressed up for the glittering experience. Fittingly, the splendour of the journey is accompanied by new season creations, including the House’s signature bags, presented in tone-on-tone palettes in miniature proportions, precious leathers and topped off with optical themes.
Aboard the Gucci escape are passengers adorned in a curated selection of jewellery and watches too, as they travel in suites decked out in Gucci’s iconic Décor collection, including porcelain tableware crafted by Richard Ginori. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Gucci affair without the House’s elegant, collectible Beauty designs along for the ride, alongside a selection of items from the Gucci Pet collection, modelled by an adorable troupe of darling dogs.
No detail goes overlooked on Gucci’s opulent travel excursion, with the shoe selection as show-stopping as the location. Elevated elegance seeps from the Gucci Cosmogonie collection, with GG-monogram-enriched platform heels, as well as sparkling mid-height mules and slingbacks in bold tones of fuchsia, lime green and orange making an appearance.
Graced on the arms of the train’s most prominent cast is the Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag, as well as the chain wallet in bold tone-on-tone hues such as purple, orange, black and midnight blue. This season, there’s a textural take on the House monogram thanks to the selection of mini statement bags in pink GG Matelassé leather, while the GG Marmont is reimagined with a swirling optical print.
