Hollywood’s night of nights always offers up some pretty stunning beauty looks, and surprisingly, the 2023 Oscars left plenty to be admired. Think bold red lips, bronzed cheeks and statement lashes. Here, we find out which makeup products were behind some of our favourite glam moments, from Jessica Chastain to Rihanna.
Look up Old Hollywood Glamour, and you’re sure to find Jessica Chastain’s stunning Oscars beauty there. Luckily, makeup artist Kristofer Buckle shared which Charlotte Tilbury products were responsible, which included the brand’s new Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand, in colour ‘Peach Pop’.
Bronzed, glowy and just a little bit dramatic, Emily Ratajowski’s Oscars glam was one of our favourites. Makeup artist Linda Hay broke down the products behind the radiant look, which included Pat McGrath’s iconic Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Bronze Seduction’, as well as the brand’s ‘Femmebot’ matte lipstick.
Makeup artist Alex Babsky revealed that for Florence Pugh’s Oscars beauty, it was all about the eyes. He created a rich, plum shadow look that was perfectly complemented by airbrushed skin, which was thanks to a few Valentino Beauty products, specifically, the brand’s illuminating primer V-Lighter in ‘Rosa’.
It’ll come as no surprise that Rihanna tasked her own beauty products for her Oscars beauty this year, with plenty of must-have Fenty products behind the stunning glam. Makeup artist Priscilla Ono shared a few of the items, including a stunning lip colour — Fenty’s Icon Semi-Matte Lipstick in shade ‘02 Grill Mast’R’.
